WHERE DO WE LIVE?
We've learned how to write our addresses correctly:
Name and surname
Street and house number (in Catalonia the number comes after the name of the street!)
Zip code and town or village
Country
We have found our homes in the map. Many of us live in Empuriabrava, which belongs to Castelló d'Empúries but it's a bit far away.
We have stuck notes with our addresses around the map, showing the exact points where we live and we have illustrated our addresses with drawings of our streets.

In class, we have also talked about the jobs people in our area do and we have learned the names of these jobs in English. We have also visited some people at work, like the mechanic, the carpenter, the butcher, the baker, the postwoman, etc.
During our walk around the village, we've been to the post office to post the letters we have written for a classmate. We are looking forward to receiving the letters; we've never found a letter for us in our mail boxes before! Now we know how to write an address correctly on an envelope, where to buy a stamp, how much a stamp for our local area costs, where to post the letters... the whole process of writing, sending and receiving mail.
